SEATTLE-BASED, SERVING CLIENTS NATIONWIDE
A Boutique Law Firm with a People-First Approach
Why Bonfire?
The name Bonfire Legal comes from the feeling of sitting around a fire with friends and talking through life’s challenges. A bonfire is a place where people share perspective, offer advice, and come together as a community for guidance. That is the experience we aim to create for our clients through approachable conversations, clear legal guidance, and the confidence of knowing you are not navigating complex decisions alone.
We embrace technology and process improvements that make legal services faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective.
About Bonfire Legal
The Bonfire Difference
At our core, Bonfire Legal is built for the dreamers, builders, and storytellers who light the spark of innovation and drive their communities forward.
The firm was founded to bridge a clear gap in the legal industry. Traditional law firms often operate with outdated processes, opaque pricing, and dense legal language that slows clients down. Bonfire Legal takes a different approach—one grounded in clarity, efficiency, and real-world understanding.
Our core values guide our business and set Bonfire Legal apart.
Innovation First
Approachability
Transparent pricing, tiered offerings, and flexible engagement models are central to our philosophy. Clients should feel in control of the legal process, not intimidated by it.
Add Value
We embrace technology and process improvements that make legal services faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective.
Meet Patrick Stubblefield
Patrick is the founder and managing attorney of Bonfire Legal.
Patrick Stubblefield is the founder and managing attorney of Bonfire Legal. His background spans startup operations, NCAA Division I compliance, and independent film production, giving him a rare, hands-on perspective on the industries he serves.
Before founding Bonfire Legal, Patrick worked directly with founders, athletes, and creatives who were trying to balance legal risk with real constraints: tight timelines, limited budgets, and high-stakes decisions that couldn’t wait for slow or overly cautious advice. That experience shaped the firm’s core philosophy — legal services should be practical, responsive, and aligned with how clients actually operate.
Patrick brings an entrepreneur’s mindset to legal problem-solving. He understands that clients aren’t just managing legal issues; they’re building businesses, protecting brands, and telling stories. His role is to provide clear guidance that helps clients make smart decisions and keep momentum.
